Ran mine like this for years. Very reliable. I think the trans. has 4-5 seasons on it. I use to race Sat. and Sunday for 2-3 of those yrs. It has a lot of rounds! I just service it and keep the bands adjusted. Consistency was pretty good. My cars been sitting for about 6 years. I'm thinking about going manual on a new transmission just to change it up this time.
