It's not 1980 anymore. Prices go up. You pay, you have a good time. $90 entry to get half you money back after 2nd round isn't bad, and 2K to win? Sounds like a decent deal to me. Then again, I still know that track has to make money to survive.

BOTH the racer and the tracks NEED each-other. But there are many ways that the tracks are "abusing" the racer. Like ....some don't count buy-backs into the base car-count.

BUT ... if that does not concern you .. that is OK.
