Won a few rounds on Friday.
The first pass on Saturday morning the front brake pad hit the rivets and dug into the rotor. I did a bunch of driving and found some new pads (stock '76 Duster brakes), and a shop that resurfaced both rotors. I got it all fixed on Saturday but missed the racing. I did make the full event on Sunday.
I also had some water pump issues...
My Meziere pump wouldn't run on Saturday morning. I pulled it out and spun it by hand with power and it started. But after turning it on and off a few times, it stalled again. So I put my old Moroso belt drive and stock water pump on the car. That ran for a few passes on Sunday, then that old motor stopped. I borrowed another motor and finished the day racing.
When I got home, the new Meziere pump was on my door step from UPS. So I will swap it out before the Legends Nostalgia event this weekend at Maryland International Raceway. http://www.mirdrag.com
