I second the statement about building your car to fit more than one class. It seems classes and rules change every year so you have to be able to adapt your car to whats "in" at the time. Thats the whole reason we need to do so many updates on our car. Everything has been an afterthought trying to keep up with rule changes, safety equipment changes, etc. It would be nice to be able to just build one from scratch but it costs way too much money! Our car is an A-body that runs deep into the 5's as well. Mini tubs and 28 x 10.5 tires. Low 5.20s and 137mph so far. Soon to be even faster....
