My sons '94 Concord has blown a fuse about 5 times over the last year.
The fuse is supposed to be for the automatic temperature control.
The ATC unit has been replaced with a new one in the past, and the relay on the unit has been replaced. The AC compressor has been unplugged.

Now for the stupid things that happen when the fuse blows, or is removed when everything seems to be in working order.
1) the ABS light comes on,
2) the automatic temperature contol seems to go to a default setting of full blowing heat throught the defrost vents,
3) the steering effort increases.

Anyone have a clue on how to fix this?

#2 is a result of the HVAC head unit going out. Been there, done that on a '94 Intrepid ES.

There is a fix involving re-soldering the contacts at the back of the head unit. Head over to http://www.dodgeintrepid.net/ and check out the first gen section, as it's a common issue.
