Just some thoughts. The line pressure was one of them, the other was electrical resistance in the solenoid circuit due to heat buildup. If you could test the solenoid ohms resistance cold, then hot, might show something? I run a relay, and big wire, never had a problem. Griner brake since 2001(?)
