Mike covered the front pretty well other than the fact the separator isn't a filter.. The filters are in the carb inlets, adding a real filter like was done on your car isn't a bad idea....

At the rear the sending unit, I agree don't change is to the current junk.. But it should have two nipples, a 3/8" for the fuel supply to the front & a 1/4" return from the vapor separator... If it doesn't I'd solder in a second line, easy to do, if you don't feel up to it a radiator shop can easily handle it... The tube only goes a couple inches inside the tank so the fuel is returned to the tank... The tank should have four lines exiting on the right side going to the second vapor separator in the trunk, there will be five tubes sticking down behind the right wheel well... The four lines from the fuel tank plus the line from the crankcase breather up front attach to those tubes...
