What are some good working affordable wideband o2 kits?
I’m trying to find something simple with a sensor and exhaust bung and gauge for around 100-200 bucks.
I’ve got a quickfuel super street 680 vacuum secondary carb and I need to get a wideband on it to take full advantage of the adjustability on it.
I have it tuned by feel and by reading spark plugs right now but I know I’m leaving some power and mileage on the table by not having a wideband in it.
I’ve found a few on eBay for 150-200 that include everything, I’m just hoping they accurate and work good.

Vague ad but the gauge comes in that white box. Search the part number on innovates site, it’ll have a gauge.

I have 2 LC2's that I have been real happy with. I found the best pricing was on eBay as well.

Logging abilities are very important. Having just a guage is okay for something steady like looking at the cruise A/F, but then a narrow band could suffice for that if that is all you need.

But if you want to look at the A/F during acceleration, things change very fast and very often. Logging and graphing is the only way to see what is happening and to evaluate the impact of your adjustments.

Actually, not as much as you may think. The AFR gage is useful in helping observe the effects of various changes. If you want one, great. But you can do pretty darn good without.
A dash gage alone will be most useful for steady conditions; Wide open throttle in top gears, steady on the highway at lower and higher speeds.

The adjustments in your QF are probably the air bleeds and what else? The airbleeds most effect the shape of the fuel curve. With the AFR gage, tach and video, that can be observed in top gears in the 1/4 mile. So for this, a gage or logger can speed things along. Best mph is still going to be the indicator of best power at the top of the run.

For milage - on the interstates, the limit will be when the engine starts surging. AFR gage, rpm, vac are only helpful in telling you what conditions the limit was hit.

It hasn't done me a bit of good.

Been setting on the shelf for 2 years and never installed. But installation is actually in my plans for the next week or two.

dumb question, do you need a bung for each header?

I have an AEM kit that I never installed. I can't swear that it is complete anymore since the box is gone but the gauge, O2 sensor and wiring harness are there. Shoot me a PM and I'll sell it to you for cheap.

If you want to, sure, but it's not critical unless you have a major issue somewhere. If you're just tuning on a known good setup, one is fine. Having two can help you identify an issue by comparing the two.

For folks with the LC-2, what made you go with the LC-2 instead of the MTX-L?

I wanted it to standalone, I don't really need the gauge that comes with it.

Second gauge from the right is AFR and the other LC2 output goes directly to my EFI controller.

I bought in innovate lc-1 and gauge 10 years ago. A great investment and in your price range.
