you made me go look at the three i have. all three lids have the sharp edge where the filter sits and very old yellow decals,two of the bottoms are black and one just metal finish and none have the dent.i hope some more people respond about this dent, this is for my 69 440 cuda.

I have an original that has been on a shelf at my shop since I moved in & prior to that on a shelf in my old garage since the 70's... I'll try to get a look tomorrow, I don't recall it having that indent....

Never seen one with the dent. I will check the 69 440 Cuda we have at the shop.

i'll use the red top plate now. had two ,red and orange(faded?)what is the color of the 440 cuda?

I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave
