Actually went up to 25 when I went to a fresh, moderate 4bbl 360. this, btw, is entirely hwy mileage... 1979 Dodge Lil' Red Express - 360 rwhp, 13.2 @ 103mph 1968 Coronet: 318, 2.76, 15.2 @ 92mph! (SOLD) 1976 Valiant: 360, 3.90, 12.90 @ 106 (SOLD) 1989 Shelby CSX #500/500

Kern Dog Striving for excellence Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 18,493 Granite Bay CA	I had a 73 Duster with a totally stock 318 2 barrel, single exhaust, 999 auto with the lockup converter and 2.76 gears. I once got 21.5 doing 70 on pancake flat country. I'd probably get better driving from 55-60 mph.

Stock roller cammed 318 with a 600cfm Edelbrock carb, 904 auto and dual exhaust. 2.76 geared rear axle in a '76 Scamp. No longer have the car but I was convinced that I could get even more out of it
