Trying to resolve a speedo problem I have.If you disconnect speedo at tranny, does the cable normally rotate clockwise or counterclock back to the speedo in instrument cluster?I'm using a lockup type tranny and not sure if it rotates the speedo gear different than a reg non lockup type trans, using a 904 type tranny.....when I connect drill to back of speedo at instrument cluster speedo will work CC but not Clock.Any help would be appreciated...

The cable spins COUNTERclockwise on the 904 and 727 transmissions. When Ma Mopar went to electronics, they were driven by a signal.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things.I sent speedo of to have checked out and recalibrated and they Redline Gauges messed it up when it went back together and I had to replace the small coil spring behind the orange indicator arm and it worked with drill before reinstalling into dash and now the mileage gauge works but no speed indication...maybe I need to call Redline tommorow...
