I have a purple cam with the number 942033 stamped on the back, but i have been unable to identify it based on this number, does anyone know what cam this is, or how to id it. thanks
Call Mopar tech and ask them The last time i was in the same sitution the Tech guy said that Mopar does not require the cam company(the cheapest one that bids on them)to make a mark or number on the cams so we can tell which one it is after it is out of the box Let us know what you find out The cam I had was suppose to be the "509" hydraulic according to the previous owner, I installed and degreed it, it was a "533" hydraulic You can measure the lobe lift with a micrometer or a good set of dial calipers, the duration is harder

I was in the same boat. Wrote a post about it.
I ended up installing it and then using my dial gauge I measured actual tappet lift then multiplied.......
Got .484
