Hi all, has anyone used the MSD noise filter for fixing electrical noise in the radio. Or is there other brands around that does. I have a MSD pro billet distributor and Msd leads and the noise through the radio is shocking.

Make sure your hood has a good ground. Usually a braided strap will do. A hood with a bad ground will act like there is no hood at all to RFI noise. Paint can act as an insulator on the hood hinges.

It's just a 26,000 micro farad capacitor, you can get one from an electronics distributor, it you don't care about it color matching.

Keep the leads from the filter to the box as short as possible, and as black64 mentioned make sure your grounds are solid.

The last one I used helped, but didn't totally eliminate ignition noise (but the PO had some creative wiring ideas).

remember when you said honey, some day that car is gonna look so good in front of our house
