robertop mopar R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 597	The guy who painted my RR (base coat/clear coat) did not want to use Organosol for the hood because of paint incompatibility, so he used Hot Rod black. The hood inserts came out well, but he waited too long to paint the stripes after he mixed the components, so the stripes will need to be done again, because they are less flat. Have Dupont primer on the hood right now.

Please let us know how it comes out. I am under the impression that it is more of a satin than a flat. I think a flat black pin on hood would have to get pretty scuffed up from taking it on and off.
