I have used one from tp tools, it takes some getting use to.
the air is heated so you have to play with your reducer's.use slower one's to take up for the warm turbine air. but I think you will be happy.

I've got one and love it, The new guns run on 10 psi or less. very little over spray, as said above use a slower reducer and over reduce the material by 10% or so and your be happy

I have a accu-spray unit I bought years ago from Eastwood. I painted my red 71 Super Bee in my filthy shop with it. I really like it.

i have used one for 23 years (same one, Chroix). use it in my cabinet business. i have sprayed everything from thin water born to thick latex just adjusting the air and cap nozzle. the most important piece would be the adjustable air shut off before it goes in the gun(like a regulator). i painted my 70 cuda race car (95 stealth pearl yellow)in one hour, base coat pearl coat and clear coat. only used 1 1/2 quarts base, one quart pearl, and little under 3 quarts clear. did it in my garage with no over spray at all, nothing on the walls or floor. dry in two hours top. it came out smooth as silk. why anyone would use a regular gun i don't know.

I've heard complaints of severe orange peel but that may be due to the wrong reducers when using that type of unit. I used a friends to do a few things and was extremely happy with the results and I'm no pro by any means. I especially like the lack of overspray and fumes !! Not having to worry about moisture or contaminants in the lines is definately a bonus. The big hose attached to the gun is probably the only downside. It'd be really cool if they made small (touch-up) guns for those units.

They do make a small touch up gun for these units...
