My in radiator tranny cooler failed me! Now I have tranny fluid where the coolant should be and coolant where the tranny fluid should be. The tranny quickly filled up and overflowed all over my driveway. I know I need to flush the cooling system(after I replace the radiator). Should I try flushing out the tranny or do you think it is a waste of money and time. What a F****D UP system!!!!! The line broke off inside the radiator and mixed the two fluids

I'd have the trans flushed and new fluid and filter installed.

Seen that happen a few times before.flush the trans with completly new fluid.(use a machine)or homemade,get 2 buckets,fill 1 with new fluid put a trans line in the bucket,put the other line in the empty bucket,the trans should suck in the new fluid and push the old crap out.Might do this a second time after a couple hundred miles to be sure.1 car it did take out the trans,but it didn't show up for about 6 months.luckily still under warranty. make sure you use the right fluid.atf+4 little pricey,but you will have problems if you don't..

I agree use the right fluid.Makes the trans shift bad if you dont.Had a few cars pop the coolers and get coolant in them.After a flush they worked OK.Just dont drive it till its flushed and the filter changed.Rocky
