galen OP super stock G Joined: May 2009 Posts: 836 Missouri	P04801062AC body control module. Mine is shorted, I have the one with alarm system. Can I use the same # module without alarm system. They have both on ebay but I would just as soon do away with the alarm if possible. If I buy the one with the alarm I am not sure whether I can program it to my key fob. Galen

383man Too Many Posts 3 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 27,421 Balt. Md	Not if it is factory alarm. Theh body controller along with the PCM are set to have the alarm. The PCM will look for a signal over the bus from the BCM to say its ok to start. If you put a BCM in without alarm the car wont start. Ron Last edited by 383man; 05/14/11 06:11 PM.
