Exactly my thought... It took almost 4k going up the ramps on the trailer and I can feel heat in the tunnel floor, So I unloaded and put it back in the shop... no racin tonight Swaping verts is such a PITA in a 4x4 Its has enough time to pump up fluid... I wait a few min before droping into gear

a big heavy truck, it could happen. sounds like a loose converter. i would run it before i gave up that quick.
Na somethings wrong, got too many passes on this rig to figure that ... Last we weighed it it was @ 3200 lbs with me, just pulled the stick and we lost a full quart and its wet on the transfer case cross member, I think I messed up on the seal between the trans and the adapter housing for the transfer case, Now the question of the hour, with a stock stamped steel pan on a 727 will a full quart low starve the pump? I could feel heat when we loaded... is that the clutch pac slipping or the vert?
