moparmikethree OP super stock M Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 710 Harrisburg Pa. 17112	I want to take out as much play as possible in the (Steering) Gear Box. How do you do it properly, I want to eliminate as much play as possible.

If anything, here is a bump. 68 Road Runner (383/4speed, post car w/decor pkg) - Major Project 69 Road Runner w/472 Hemi & 4 speed. 70 Challenger R/T SE EF8 w/ V9J, U - A32 - Major Project 2023 Ford Mach 1

stumpy I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 32,954 Grand Prairie,Texas	Tighten it a little at a time. If the steering wheel won't self center easily then you've gone too far. Just remember power steering will have slop with the engine off. BTW is your shaft coupler sloppy or tight?
