Hey guys, Im putting a clutch in my Demon, I have a few questions, can I leave the oil in it, can I leave the shift rods on it and just remove the shifter, how hard will it be to separate the trans from the pilot bearing , any tips ? thanks John

You can leave the lube in if you have an old yoke to insert in the tail or put a heavy duty plastic bag and rubber band around the tail.
I don't know if you can leave the shifter on or not in an A-body

On my 65 B I unbolt the stick from the box. Then loosen the box and leave it hang down. The rods stay on.I have ball and trunion so I dont have to drain just plug the speedo hole as mine on a 65 has to come out.As said either use an old yoke or a heavy plastic bag or drain it.Gear oil isnt very pricey.Rocky
