I have a powermaster and no issues at all. To be honest I had a regualr Dodge typ emini in the car for years. Still be there is I had not let it roll off the toolbox and break the dang thing. I had this powermaster sitting around and we threw it in. Been trouble free with it.

I have used both the regular and heavy duty factory starters without any problems on motors 572 & 604 with 15-1 compression.

MSD needs to stick to ignitions...I dont know about meziere.

A 100 dollar starter from tuff stuff at summit will work just fine.

I have a powermaster and a backup mopar mini ,they both have done the job flawlessly. When i neeed another i will go with the Robb Mac.Very well dasigned, more gear reduction ,a better fit and can be indexed.

If it was anything like the one i brought they don't machine the nose correctly. For the price i rather go with a robbmc starter but i was in a pinch and needded a starter i ended up putting a stock unit to hold me over.

I have an msd on the belvedere works fine, 3000 miles a lot of hot starts and no heat shield. Have an msd on the boat with over 15 to 1 spins it fine, but have not started it yet. Tried the clockable powermaster it did not want to spin it very good. I may have just got a bad one as with anything. I wanted to use a Robb MC but they said it will not work with my 130 tooth flywheels.
