One heater core line has a metal tube with a tee, one line goes to water pump other line goes to bottom of engine. anyone know what this is for.

Sounds like someone put a tee in there so you can flush the system.Probably so you can hook up a water hose to the tee.

There is a metal tube with a tee in one of the heater core lines. Both lines go to the water pump and the line that has the tee in it also goes to the bottom of the engine on the pass. side, hard to see i cant tell if it goes to one of the freeze plug holes or what.
