Under the dash? It lets off the vacumm so the hood closes when the key is turned off.

I don't have the silonoid on my airgrabber switch and the door on my hood still closes when I turn off the key. Another weird thing is when I throw the switch to the off position the door opens and to the on position the door closes.

Switch the hoses around on your actuator on the bottom side of your hood. And you must have a vacuum leak if your airgrabber door closes. It should stay open without the solenoid. The solenoid opens when there is no power to it when the ignition is turned off and lets the vacuum to release and closes the door.
I'll give that a try
