Ok everyone, I'm fairly new to the World of MOPAR. Always been a Bike guy. Anyway I recently aquired a 73 Dart Swinger with a 225 Slant 6. My question is can a swap to a V8 be done fairly easy? Or is it a pain? Will a V8 bolt right up? It has a 727 Torque Flight Tranny.

You need the engine and matching transmission. The slant trans won't bolt up to a V8. You also need motor mounts, either Schumacher conversion mounts or a V8 k-member. I also recommend larger torsion bars and a sway bar along with disc brakes, if the car doesn't have them already. The rear end may or may not be up to the task, but it can also be replaced.
