Well, 2 Old Boys are building a /6 with a T4 Turbo and planning 30 pounds of boost! Maybe this will help?

Thank you. I have been reading forabodies and slantsix.org trying to get an idea. I also found the guy who applied the supercharger to his slant six on one of those sites.
If I were to try to do this I would be looking for a cool street application. I like things that are unique and you don't see too many people sport a six cylinder (For obvious reasons). I like to be different. Plus the Dart would be a lot more lighter and still have decent amount of power. I read you can build up a street engine slant-six to get approximately 250hp on all motor. I figure it might be cheaper and cooler than replacing my engine for a V8.

Check my two choices for a slant 6 blow through. Holset WH1C (HX35 with V bands) Toyota CT26 3.0 Supra turbo started another thread...

http://www.youtube.com/user/turboslant6Here ya go. 14# of boost. Most we ran was 18#. Nice efficient set-up and 14# of boost on methanol. We did turn it up to 18# once or twice.
"Turbo will be easiest, and at the HP level will also be easiest on parts. Spend the money to do it right, and you can build a 500 HP street motor that will live a long and happy life, and probably with a very basic short block."
Those words must have left a bad taste in his mouth!

My only comment is 200, MAYBE 225 all motor is more realistic. 250 NA, while not impossible, takes LOTS of experience with slants.
With forced induction, 350-600 seems (relatively) easy. Slants have overbuilt bottom ends, and they slant AWAY from exhaust/induction, making them PERFECT for turbos.
Good luck!

Thanks, still iffy on what I am going to do. My best friend (who is an import guy but respects all old muscle cars) said I should fuel inject the slanty. Coming from him idk if that is even possible. And if it was it seems like it would be a waste of money.

Perfect would be if they slanted the other direction! That way the stock exhaust manifold mounted snail could curl up away from the block and still have the exhaust pointing toward the rear, but we cant have it all....Maybe stronger rods? But there is a real EZ solution, just use a Ford truck turbo, it is a reverse rotation style. Looks like a few make them like this, Holset and Schwitzer...
