Does anybody know if they ever repopped the Corning Glass? I thought that I had seen it over the years but cannot remember where...I find myself in need of a drivers door glass for a 65 Plymouth... Thanks...

I have to mention...Im quite suprised by the Krammer comment...I have had dealings with Jim and never got that impression..he has always treated me quite well...a bit un organized at times but always seems to be on the up and up...what kinds of prooblems have you guys experianced?

You've highlighted the exact problem: Poor or uneven customer service. You get much better service if you're "in the circle." Then there was this incident years ago: Sherman Assoc. had early B trunk pans priced @$350. After Jim "came into a few bucks" he bought all the remaining pans then jacked the price up to $1200+. It's that type of profiteering that I will never forget. I prefer to spend money with a good guy like Greg Lane. Prices of all the other early B specific parts are pretty much fixed between the vendors anyway. Thankfully, Jim only sells a few things that can't be had elsewhere (his scoops come to mind).

The floor pan thing seems pretty crappy....I wasnt aware. These early cars do seem to have a limited amount of people to deal with. Guess I'll hunt around for a pc. of that corning glass...sure hope I dont have to bend over too far!! Seem funny that the car prices have dropped into the toilet but the parts sure havent.. Thanks

Oddball, low-volume OE and repro. parts will always be pricey because of the small runs. The issue with most of the Max Wedge and Hemi parts -- including the Corning glass -- is that it's made by one guy who sets the price with the vendors. You might squeeze free shipping out of somebody but that's about it.
