Anyone try doing there own powder coating with kits such east-woods?, and if you did how was your results? ,

What I have been doing is just baking regular spray paint. It make a huge diffence.

Heat part to 150 degrees. between coats put back in oven at 150. After final coat, cook a 350 deg for 2 to 3 hours. Might be soft because of heat right out of oven, but will cool hard.

Works awesome on wrinke paint. Totally even texture.

Just try it on something with and without backing and compare scratch resistance. I'd say 50-75% as tough as powdercoating. With 0% being the baseline spray paint normal air drying.
