I have lost my pics of my engine bay. Does anyone have a few good pics showing the placement of the stock electronics for a 72 Cuda. I need to see the whole layout. Thanks

When I bought this car it had been a drag car and it appears to me that some of the engine bay wiring has been changed. I have a MSD 6AL setup that I need to install but as I said I lost my pics from when I took it apart. Can someone please tell me what these connectors goto and where? Thanks

Here are some pics of the bay as it sits.

This is a 73 but they should be very similar.

The engine harness comes out of the main bulkhead connector and connects to the oil sending unit, ballast resistor, voltage regulator and ignition box on the firewall. Then there is a large connector with all the engine connections coming off of it. Those wires run along the passengers side valve cover. You'll have connections for the coil, choke warmer(did 72's have those?), temp sending unit, and alternator wiring. THere will also be a brown wire that goes to the electric windshield washer motor. If the car has a manual washer pump, the brown wire will be wrapped up in a connector attached to the alternator.

The purple wire with the angled plug is for the temp sender. The brown wire is the washer pump wire. The blue, green and black wires are the alternator connections.

In one of the other pictures you show a gray wire with a female spade connector. I believe that is the oil sending unit wire. The other wires in that picture are a coil wire and the distributor connection.

The wires on the drives side inner fender are the headlight harness wires as well as the connections for the starter relay.
