Moparts members:

I'm helping a friend of mine to decifer his 69 RR broadcast sheet. Hopefully, he got registered for the board but here are some questions that he has:
1. Paint code of X9- What is the actual paint and or code? The car is at the body shop and we need the code to tell the shop.

2. Suspension- Code is "S-15". We were told it has a "Hemi" suspension-Torsion bars are coded 780 and 781 respectively. How to determine if indeed it is and how can you tell. Is there a number to look for on the K-member?

3. Trim code- Coded is M6X then X9, VO1, A4, A4 on the second line of the broadcast sheet

4. SPD- Where or how to decifer the date the car was built?

I currently have a copy of the broadcast sheet. My friend will try to scan a copy and send it to me so I can share it here with you all. If not, I will scan the copy of it so someone here can decifer it for us. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Moparts!

1. Paint code of X9- What is the actual paint and or code? 1969 paint code X9 (or TX9) Plymouth "black velvet"

2. Suspension- Code is "S-15". We were told it has a "Hemi" suspension-Torsion bars are coded 780 and 781 respectively. How to determine if indeed it is and how can you tell. The "HEMI" suspension was STANDARD on HEMI cars & included with "axle packages" on 383 cars, it also included the "big" rear springs 795/965. Is there a number to look for on the K-member? NO

3. Trim code- Coded is M6X then X9, VO1, A4, A4 on the second line of the broadcast sheet M6X - medium grade vinyl bucket seat interior in BLACK X9 - upper door frame paint "BLACK VELVET", VO1 - mono-tone paint style, A4 - ROOF paint color - "SILVER METALLIC", A4 - BODY paint color "SILVER METALLIC"

4. SPD- Where or how to decifer the date the car was built? it's the first 3 digits of the Vehicle Order Number on line one of the b'cast sheet.
