John, That car looks great......looks like another fabulous job by Paul and Troy. Just goes to show that quality work is priceless!
Are you planning on bringing it to any major shows this year? I would love to see it in person.

Looks great.

Are the centers of the wheel covers different from front to back? The back one looks dark, and the front one looks white.

I have 4 dark centers and a plain center. Obviously Paul wasn't paying attention when he put the front one on. I'll have to get on him about the "detail" work. It's tough finding good help nowadays!

SHarp eyed Moparts guys don't miss a beat!
I'm just trying to get the HUGE dents out of the other dark centered one! She's not quite finished but it does nice burnouts

Couldn't you have taken the picture of the other side that has matching wheel covers????? And besides, I told you your mom was the only one allowed to drive my car! I saw how you do burnouts, a white mustang at the power tour event in Evansville. Ring any bells?

Thanks Mark, and yes Paul & Troy do fantastic work. You don't have to stand over their shoulder and check to be sure the work is being performed to the highest standards. In fact, I only went to Troy's once and Paul's shop once. No need to worry if they are working on your ride.
I plan to have the car at the Nats and I would like to take it to Carlisle but not sure at this point. It will be at the Monster Mopar Weekend since the facility is only 15 minutes from my house.

... Do any of you remember full wheel covers and 2 tone paint on the 69's? I don't and I was 19 years old when this car was produced. I've attached a few pictures for your viewing.

Congrats on getting the car done and being able to do it right. The air grabber is a nice option! I may not have been paying attention but does it have an optional rear and suspension package? I bought a new one 9/8/69. It was a Y3 (yellow gold) coupe. I have never seen another that color but Inever saw a two tone either. Mine had the full wheel covers, deluxe interior, A02light package, stainless B pillar trim, exhaust tips and a 3.23 single track. I took the wheel covers off and painted the wheels white. Still have the hubcaps nut don't need them on my A12. They may eventually go on the 69 Formula 340S Barracuda that I'm restoring. The 383 ran 14.7 at 100.1 mph in the quarter at New England Dragway going over the finish line in 3rd gear. It was a good car and I have been hooked ever since.

Nothing special in the rear, just the standard single trac with 323 gears, like yours. If your full wheel covers are in good shape and you might be interested in selling them I could use a good set. Mine aren't too bad but the quality of the restoration really needs quality wheel covers. You can PM me if your interested in selling them.
