were they the same through the years say 1994 to 2002,this is refering to automatic equipped pickup engines.thanks,sam.

I think so. once they all went to the multiport EFI set-ups, I don't think anything else changed on them.

IIRC somewhere along the line (96-98?) the weight moved from the converter to the flexplate, and the converter bolt pattern became symmetrical.

Yep, '96 and later have a weighted flexplate.
