Are all 68 a/c lines the same if the car has a 383 in it ? We have a 68 RR 383 4 speed with air & need both lines from the compresser.

I know most of it,,,, if not all of it is B-body only.

But most of it is the same as 1967 B-bodies..

If they come off a '68 383 B-body.

'68 B-body has an A/C system unique to that year only. The baffle coming off the front screws into a hose/hard line assy that wraps around the front of your radiator support and connects to the condensor. (on 69's this assy. is ine continuous part).

The line coming off the back of the compressor is a copper pipe with a baffle at the end. It ties into a hose which then loops around and ties into the evaporator.

There are also unique brackets and supports for mounting the compressor that are common to '68 big block assemblies as well The supports that go from the compressor to the intake are different on 383 and 440 applications. here are some pix of a '68 383 Charger.
