Based on the Chevy and Ford pricing (and adding $100 simply because all Chrysler parts are more expensive), I'm betting that they are going to be right at $1000. They look nice, but I don't exactly understand why Edelbrock has developed them. I always thought that the RPM heads in their OOTB form were intended for street/strip cars. Why introduce another entry-level head? Are these replacing the RPMs?

they are the same castings with just very minimal port finishing done. designed to compete with the Chinese stuff. while i would not buy them (i'd pony up the extra dough for the cnc ports) i applaud them for still making them domestically and giving the import stuff a run for the money.  we need to start supporting the domestic stuff, in my opinion.

I would have bought a less finished E-brock head for my car since they got fully ported anyway.
