Looks like a "street" aluminum head called "e-street"
Anyone have prices for both SB and BB yet?

Based on the Chevy and Ford pricing (and adding $100 simply because all Chrysler parts are more expensive), I'm betting that they are going to be right at $1000.
They look nice, but I don't exactly understand why Edelbrock has developed them. I always thought that the RPM heads in their OOTB form were intended for street/strip cars. Why introduce another entry-level head? Are these replacing the RPMs?

The literature I received from Edelbrock on them reads exactly like the literature for the RPM heads.Same port sizes, valve specs, bench flow, etc.
They list both heads in the 2011 catalog, one on top of the other and the only difference I can see is one is engraved"Performer RPM" and the other says"E-Street"
My last price sheet shows no pricing yet on the E-Streets.

A quick search on Summit shows that line of heads being quite inexpensive for certain models. But I agree just because its Mopar they will charge more.

I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of Eddys (not those though) till I read the "valve stem prob" thread just below

What I was thinking...
Cast, machined, and assembled in China with no QC.

Or to get you to spend $$$$ on something you really don't need.

they are the same castings with just very minimal port finishing done.

designed to compete with the Chinese stuff.

while i would not buy them (i'd pony up the extra dough for the cnc ports) i applaud them for still making them domestically and giving the import stuff a run for the money.

we need to start supporting the domestic stuff, in my opinion.

I think there is a need for an inexpensive small block aluminum head. If they are a performance upgrade over stock Magnum or X heads & on par with the Iron Rams then you have to appreciate the weight savings they should offer. If they come in at $1000.00 bucks or so for a assembled pair they just might sell well. Who knows they might have a sale one day too

Isn't that the same cost as the RPM head for small blocks.

I would have bought a less finished E-brock head for my car since they got fully ported anyway.

Stand by for a price increase on the RPM's then.
