the 360 engine brackets and a weighted torqe converter are the 2 main things..

MSD won't make any more power but they tend to let the engine idle a lot better and if you get the 6AL version they have a built in rev limiter. The MSD works really well when triggered by a stock Mopar electronic distributor.
Instead of a weighted convertor I typically use the ones made for internally balanced engines and use a B&M flexplate with a notch instead of the goofy weights.

Okay Young Gun, you should feel good about yourself that you managed to grenade a 318, not that easy to do! Follow the advise here, the 318-360 swap is about the easiest swap/upgrade that exists in the world of old mopars.
