Finally picked up the one I've been looking for in my sig. It's a mid-70's plastic unit with a few cracks here and there.
The removable metal spokes are still in good shape. The push-buttons and center cap are easy to clean and color-change. There's alot of flaking chrome around the trim for the center cap, but that'll be getting painted.
Who can repair the cracks in the plastic and change the color? I can take care of everything else.
Thanks, guys.

I'm currently working on a '63 Dodge steering wheel. I'll post pics when it's done but it's been way too hot out to get any work done here lately.
I use the PC-7 Epoxy (bought it at True Value).
First thing you need to do is grind out the cracks and clean them out thoroughly! My steering wheel was thoroughly trashed with cracks and after a few hours of work it's starting to look good again.
I plan on using the same single stage enamel that I used on the dash and other steel interior pieces. I did a test shoot on a small area the other day and tried chipping and scratching and it held up really well! I'm going from teal green to red btw.
