It getting tougher and tougher everyday it seems.. Having gone to a bunch of local parts stores and eventually rock auto searching for a master cylinder that would even pass as a "original looking" for a dual master conversion. NO LUCK

Getting nervous as rock auto has never failed me until today. Master pictured on there site was what I was after but when it arrived it was the same as the others..they are now supplied with a cheap tin stamped cover that looks like crap - besides all 3 parts were made in China anyway

Last time I purchased one I was able to swap the rebuilt lid with a original mopar lid but now it looks like the masters are a completely different shape?

For referance I am looking for a 69 Runner 4 wheel manual drum style master. Everyone had them in stock so, the same master must fit a bunch of other applications.

Any manufacturer suggestions from someone who has gotten a correct looking unit?

It is for a 65 B conversion so it isn't 100% correct anyway but it has to look close.

I bought some masters from Master Power brakes but both of them failed. Try a NAPA store. If not call me and I'll check at my local store for you.

I have a drum/drum master from a '70 E which worked when removed. PM if interested.

quick update - rock auto was great to deal with.. they contacted the manufacturer and verified the change and corrected the picture on their website.

No luck yet but a couple of members have PM'ed me and I need to follow up.
