IM running comp cam magnum roller rockers for the first time in my 340 with a high lift cam. Boy do they make some noise. Is this normal???? I can hear them when driving the car. Should they be quiet??? Something in the valve train is makeing noise, a lot more than the stock stamped steel set up. Maybe I need to recheck my valve lash.

Thaks.

I have them, but got questions for you. How big of a cam and what is the spring pressure. The comps are great rockers but will not hold up against high spring pressure. And yes recheck your lash.

Cam is comp cam XE 285 HL duration is 241/247 and lift is .545

Springs are behives and are the recommended for this cam, Not sure exactly what pressure they are.

Those rockers should work with that cam. What heads are you running and did you check how the roller contacts the valve tip when opening the valve:
