2005 Durango. The blower motor works just fine. However, I get virtually no flow out of the system. It doesn't matter whether I switch to floor, defrost or dash vents.....no air flow at all.

The rear works fine, cold, etc.

I had a similar problem with my '06 Ram, and it was the blower doors inside the ducts. Does the '05 Durango typically have the same typical problem??

It is not a dual zone (left/right). It does have dual zone front/rear.

I haven't removed the blower yet, but it seems (just from listening to it) to properly work at each speed, so I don't think it is the blower resistor or the blower motor. Also, fresh air vs recirculating makes no difference at all.

Try looking at the actuators on the drvr side of the air box under the dash. Pull one off & move the blend door or mode door switches & see if the actuator moves. If so, try to carefully manually move the door on the air box. Caravans are bad about breaking the tab on the blend door where the actuator attaches & hangs up blocking the air. Have to pull the dash & air box to replace it. If the actuator doesn't move when turning the switches, may have a head unit problem or defective actuator.

Ok....you were all wrong.

I go out today to troubleshoot. And everything works perfectly. Switches from defrost to floor to dash vents with no problem. Hopefully it doesn't come back.
