1) Unbolt pedal from linkage
2) There's another both that holds the linkage to the brake pedal frame. Remove that bolt
3) remove spring attached to linkage

BTW the linkage comes out with the booster

4) Unbolt 4 nuts that hold booster to firewall
5) Unbolt master. I've been able to rig it where I haven't taken off the lines from the master just moving it out of the way.
5a) remove vacuum line
6) Remove booster
7) Remove linkage from booster. Note that there is a bushing in the rod in the back of the booster. Don't lose it because nobody makes it.
8) Reverse to install

I skipped some of this. All I did was disconnect the linkage from the booster (one pin), and then the 4 bolts from the booster, and disconnect the master cyl from the booster. All my pedal linkage stayed intact. I did have a really long set of needle nose pliers though, to let me R&R that little pin.

On my '67, I didn't see any way to disconnect the linkage from the arm on the booster while it was still on the car; the was no clearance to get a wrench in there or to get the bolt out for that matter. I'll have to look at it again next time I do one.
