Just curious, How much are you lowering the front and how are you doing that? I ask because problems car arise if the front is lowered 'alot' by T-bars alone.

why buy anything to lower the rear of the car. just flip the front rear leaf spring hangers, 180*, upside down and re-assemble. you just lowered the rear 1 1/2-2"

This is NOT a good idea... You must be friends with the guy in the 340 post that said it was okay to put used lifters in a used cam in "whatever" order. The front hanger is indexed. The bolt spacing is different from top and bottom. To make the hanger fit, you need to redrill the holes. This is a high stress area and drilling MORE holes there is like drilling holes under the floor that you are standing on. Sooner or later it will fail. Losing the axle at speed can kill people.

Hi pacnorthcuda: I am running the capauto tubular front end with rack and pinion. It sits at a height that i think looks really good. I had rear heavy duty springs made at a spring shop and it sits higher than stock. I just want it back to about original height in the rear.

Yup, should have waited. Once you break those cast aluminum ones, get some good extruded alumium ones. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/type in lowering blocks in the search. You can chose from .25" to 4" for less $$ than the cast ones you just bought

Can you post a pic of the car. It's not very often these cars need to be lowered. I think after having the springs in the car for a while they should settle down some. Maybe not an inch and a half but it will settle. And if you have passengers in the back seat that usually makes them squat. And as mentioned above, the spring shop can re-arch them. I had to have it done to mine. When they added a leaf and arched them I couldn't get the shackles to reach the frame. So they flattened them out some. Good luck.

Hi ragtop: Have tried many times to post pics. Have never been able to get them to post. However, have never had a problem posting pics on e body only. Am not going to go thru the hassle of removing springs again and taking them to downtown baltimore. They have been on over a year, so i don't think they will settle anymore. Should have gotten the spring hangers from mancini and a 1 inch lowering block to give me 1 1/2 inches. I was too antsy to order parts before waiting for feedback from members. Still may return the stuff i ordered from JEGS.
