Summit racing may have what you are asking for, but I have a few other suggestions if you are interested, and they are safer:
1) REarch the springs. Call a local spring shop and ask about it.
2) Remove front leaf spring hanger and drill another mounting hole above the existing one. You will need to position the new hole approximately 3/4 to 7/8" above the current hole to achieve the 1 1/2" of drop.

you can get the cheapy lowering kit from discount/advance or vatozone for around 25$

I bought one to get new u-bolts that were longer then cut after install

I may still have the 2 alum blocks in the shed if you want them for free

you would still need the longer u-bolts though ,I get those made up at a spring shop thats local...they may have the blocks also

pm me if you want the blocks

I had already called summit and jegs. could only find 1 inch and 2 inch. No 1 1/2 inch. May get the 1 inch and see how it looks.

Mancini sells billet ones with u-bolts. I think they are around $65.

I made some after shearing the locating nub off the cheap parts store cast units. I've still got the stick of alum alloy, but I think it's also 2".

Just curious,
How much are you lowering the front and how are you doing that?
I ask because problems car arise if the front is lowered 'alot' by T-bars alone.

why buy anything to lower the rear of the car.
just flip the front rear leaf spring hangers, 180*, upside down and re-assemble. you just lowered the rear 1 1/2-2"

This is NOT a good idea... You must be friends with the guy in the 340 post that said it was okay to put used lifters in a used cam in "whatever" order.
The front hanger is indexed. The bolt spacing is different from top and bottom. To make the hanger fit, you need to redrill the holes. This is a high stress area and drilling MORE holes there is like drilling holes under the floor that you are standing on. Sooner or later it will fail. Losing the axle at speed can kill people.

Mancini has new front hangers with a second mounting hole.

Well guys, i should have waited for everyone's response before i went and ordered the 1 1/2 spacer on ebay. I may return them and order the hanger bracket from mancini.

Hi pacnorthcuda: I am running the capauto tubular front end with rack and pinion. It sits at a height that i think looks really good. I had rear heavy duty springs made at a spring shop and it sits higher than stock. I just want it back to about original height in the rear.

Yup, should have waited. Once you break those cast aluminum ones, get some good extruded alumium ones.

type in lowering blocks in the search. You can chose from .25" to 4" for less $$ than the cast ones you just bought

I would get the cast iron ones. I had a pair of cast aluminum 1" blocks that started to crush/crack on me.

Can you post a pic of the car. It's not very often these cars need to be lowered. I think after having the springs in the car for a while they should settle down some. Maybe not an inch and a half but it will settle. And if you have passengers in the back seat that usually makes them squat. And as mentioned above, the spring shop can re-arch them. I had to have it done to mine. When they added a leaf and arched them I couldn't get the shackles to reach the frame. So they flattened them out some. Good luck.

Hi ragtop: Have tried many times to post pics. Have never been able to get them to post. However, have never had a problem posting pics on e body only.
Am not going to go thru the hassle of removing springs again and taking them to downtown baltimore. They have been on over a year, so i don't think they will settle anymore.
Should have gotten the spring hangers from mancini and a 1 inch lowering block to give me 1 1/2 inches. I was too antsy to order parts before waiting for feedback from members. Still may return the stuff i ordered from JEGS.
