If I had an A-body 8-3/4 rear, all stock. Could I switch to green bearings by just removing my tapered rollers and pressing on the greens ?
Or do I also have to, either remove the thrust pin from my center chunk, or have the axles shortened ?

Snap ring style green bearings do not require differential thrust block removal.

Thanks Cass,

I know I can get the green bearings online, mancini, moser, etc, or probably from you, But do you know if they can be bought at the local Napa, Advance auto type places ?
I'd like to get them local if possible, just cause I want to get my project finished up asap.
