Is it just me or does it seem like my Sunfire Yellow Dart has a different roof then my old Red Dart. It seems like the Red Dart has a more sporty looking roof. I am not sure what the exact model was, but the red one was born with a 273. My Sunfire Yellow one was born with a slanty. Any info would be appreciated

The Yellow car is a post model with window frames in the doors. Cars known as Hardtops or coupes had a roofline that was a little lower. The rear window also slopes at a greater angle with the NON post models.

You know, I knew I should have kept the Red one. It had some nice buckets in there too. The only problems was that the body wasn't as straight as the Sunfire Yellow one and all of the interior (literally all of it) was dyed red and it was pealing. They even dyed the bottom of the rear seat covers. It was a pretty cool car though. A 273, metallic green with a black vinyl top. But I still like the uniqueness of my Sunfire Yellow Dart.

No wonder why they guy I was trying to sell it to was in a rush to buy it. Lame. I believe I got a good deal on it, still. A non running 273 hardtop with no body trim and some good buckets.

You think a post car would still look good with a HEMI hood (Black or Sunfire Yellow), black vinyl top and a black bumble bee stripe?

The post cars are a lot less common than the hardtop cars. I like the post cars like yours, gives them more of that mid 60's look. If you set it up right, it will be very cool.

it looks like a 4 doors roof but being 2 doors

well, actually I'm not a big fan of Darts but 2 doors hardtops JUST RIGHT BECAUSE THE ROOF AND SAIL PANELS SHAPE being sportier... and just 70/72s, being 70 my fav.

Now, if will fit on right look with the mods... mm maybe yes. You have to imagine if will fit right onto a 4 doors too, since look is practically the same

well of course, as any 2 doors but not quite the hardtop

Just put a Hemi under the Hemi hood. The rest won't matter then.

Your car has a very similar roof as the '67-'69 Valiant coupes, which I love personally.

This body style is easy to make look awkward with the wrong stance and wrong wheel and tire combo, but look really good with the right stuff.
