Billy no mates OP mopar B Joined: May 2006 Posts: 458 somewhere out there	Hi Guys, I have the chance of buying a 9 3/4 out of a f150 with 373 gears & a locker. Would this axle be a Dana 60? other than spring perch location & width does anyone forsee any other problems I will have putting it in a early B body. thanks Billy BillyNoMates

I don't know but it does look similar. I worked at a Ford store for a while and thought about doing the same swap in the hot rod. We are brothers and sisters doing time on the planet for better or worse. They are simply saying that they think it is equal to a 60 not identicle. It has a crush sleave and c-clip axles. The bearings are different. Everything is different. DO not expect any Dana 60 parts to fit. In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
