1967 stock 2 barrel 273? Anyone know what cam i can use to get a good sound out of the exhaust. It is a solid cam now. I will change the intake to a 4-barrel also. Thanks

You want another solid in it or switch it to a hydraulic stick? 67' 273, probably around 9 to 1 cr. 68'-73' 340 automatic trans cam and springs is good with
(if it can be found) a 273/235 hp 4bbl intake with a
500-625cfm Carter AFB OR 318 4bbl intake manifold with a 600 cfm Holley.

Look at the ISKY cat. Isky E4 grind. pretty much the sock replacement for the 235hp cam. Good overall cam. That 273 will like a lot of gear.

the stock 273 hipo solid cam is nice,used it in a couple 318s also

have had a hipo cam in a 273 with .500 lift..it was nasty for a 273

on the isky cam as well

As far as gear is concerned, anything OVER 3.91-1
is good. Also had a 235hp 273 Cuda that couldn't keep a set of tires on it for no more than a year! Fun car!!
