I know the 6 rib has more surface area but will it stay on at high RPM?

I have the march serpentine kit on my engine and ran it to 8000 rpm quite a bit.

A serpentine belt if aligned properly will stay on better, last longer and it takes less hp to turn. Thats why the oe's went to them

Check out the light weight V-belts the circle track guys are using. I think they can run a smaller radius (less pulley weight) and 1/2 the size of a old school V-belt. they look almost plastic.
