It's nothing like the ZOO at B.I.R. in Minnesota
aka: Animal Land!!! as us older ones remember the
crazy 80's into the 1990's when it was almost
canceled by the NHRA for massive over the top
party's
Gainesville Gator Nats now has a 40 acre mini zoo.
About 1/10 of the size of the Zoo at B.I.R. but
anything is better than nothing! I been to the
Gator Nats 2 times back in the 90's and I always
wonderd why they did not have camping.
Well now you have it, and enjoy it!!! It might
never get as big as the real ZOO, but there is
nothing better than camping out at a NHRA National
event. PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like it's on property.
I camped at the one 2 miles south of the track back in the '80s. Lots of fun watching people get stupid and tearing up their stuff in the big sand pit. In the first few years they opened, the wet T contest started around 1am after the strip clubs closed and the girls showed up for the contest. As always, skin to win.
