Can I swap all the guts/OD and tail shaft over to a BB 727 case?

Having trouble getting an ultra bell, but I have all sorts of 727 cases I can swap too.

Thanks

Nope. 727 case is missing everything for the OD to work. Depending on the year you are missing hydraulic circuits and more.

Damn. . .

The OD is driven by tubes from the valve body. That's what made me think it can be done. I don't have a 727 right here to compare too.

The case is different where the od unit bolts on as well.
