I posted here as the truck forum get less hits. There may be similar mounting for the cars too.

My D350 brake lights stay on. I "fixed" it a couple of years ago with a hose clamp to hold the switch in adjustment so it would contact the pedal.

Those cheesy metal clips seem to wear out.

What worked for you?

I was contemplating wrapping it with a big glob of JBWeld.

I made an L shaped plate and held it on with the pedal to booster bolt, so it would make better contact. very wide plate and since it is on a pivoit, I can adjust the angle.

Replace the cheesy clip with a couple nuts... One on either side of the bracket...
