My Henry J drag car has hit a snag, the steering shaft collides with the solenoid sticking out of the side of the stock starter. I've looked at several mini starters, and even though they're way smaller, the solenoid is in the same place and will have the same problem. Does anyone make or adapt a starter where the solenoid is on the top or bottom?

Here are some pictures to show you the adjust ability. And he is a sponsor so I guess you don't have to worry about circumventing the the advertising dollars spent on this forum. https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...amp;Search=true

Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first.
Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.
